Huckaby Briscoe Conroy (HBC) Group at Keller Williams McLean recently donated $1,000 to Reston-based Cornerstones as part of its “Community Charity Champions” initiative to give back to local charity groups.

Cornerstones focuses on stability, empowerment and hope in supporting Fairfax County residents with programs that include emergency shelter, eviction prevention and food security.

Karen Briscoe, Lizzy Conroy and Jenny McClintock of HBC Realty Group presented the contribution to Ted Lewis and Adrian Chadwell of Cornerstones.

Community Charity Champions was organized by HBC Group in 2012 to support local charities and organizations. More than $100,000 has been raised over the last 9 years.

“Our mission at HBC Group is we that ‘Live Here, Work Here and Give Back Here.’ So, having Community Charity Champions donate to Cornerstones is a natural opportunity for us to give back to a great cause and to help families, individuals and children with a little hope,” Briscoe said.

“Giving back to the community that we live and work in is a huge priority for HBC Group,” McClintock said. “We are pleased to be a part of Cornerstones’ mission to reduce homelessness and fund affordable housing.”
