The 9th Street Quartet will perform “Dances and Trances,” with works by Hector Villa-Lobos, Elena Kats-Chernin, Arvo Part, Caroline Shaw and Charlton Singleton, on Friday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 915 North Oakland St.
Tickets are $20 and include, for those 21 and older, a complimentary glass of win.
On Feb. 19 at 2:30 p.m., the troupe will host a master class featuring the Miró Quartet for musicians in grades 8 to 12. The class is open to the public; there is no charge.
